Garden Pea Cappuccino with Prawn Skewers

Preparation time : 30 minutes. Finely chop the garlic and onion. Dice the sweet potato.

For 2 servings, you’ll need:

  • 1 onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 small sweet potato
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable bouillon powder
  • 225 g garden peas Alnatura
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice Alnatura
  • 90 g prawns with herbs and garlic
  • 200 ml whole milk
  • 3 tablespoons butter for frying
  • 400 ml hot water
  • Black pepper

Step by step:

  • Finely chop the garlic and onion
  • Dice the sweet potato
  • Melt the butter over a medium heat and cook the diced sweet potato for 2 minutes
  • In a pan, dissolve the bouillon powder in the hot water and leave to simmer over a gentle heat for about10 minutes
  • Add the peas and cook for 10 minutes
  • Purée the pea soup and season with the lemon juice
  • In a frying pan, fry the prawns and then thread onto skewers
  • Heat the milk – but don’t let it boil –and then froth it
  • Pour the soup into 2 cups/glasses, add the foamed milk and a little pepper and serve with the prawn skewers.
