Winter Vegetable Crumble

Preparation time : 10 minutes & cooking time. Difficulty: 1/5. For servings: 2


  • 175g carrots, finely diced
  • 175g celery, finely diced 
  • 20g butter
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and black pepper

For the crumble, mix together using your fingertips:

  • 35g Parmesan, grated
  • 30g butter, softened
  • 30g white flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and black pepper

Step by step:

Fry the diced carrots and celery for a few minutes in the butter. Season to taste, fill ramekin dishes with the vegetables and then sprinkle the crumble mixture on top. Bake in the oven at 190°C, fan-assisted, for about 10 minutes. The crumble should be cooked and golden brown.

For optional decoration:

Using a vegetable peeler, very thinly slice some carrot and fry the slices in olive oil. Leave on kitchen paper to cool completely, season with salt, “twist together” the slices and place on top of the crumble.
