Mam’s Wäffelcher

Preparation time : 10 minutes & cooking time. Makes around 16 waffles. Difficulty: 2/5. A recipe guaranteed to delight the whole family .

Ingredients : 

  • 80g butter at room temperature
  • 80g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 80g plain flour

Step by step

  • Beat the butter and sugar together – the sugar should be evenly distributed.
  • Add the eggs one by one.
  • Mix everything together with the flour.

Cook your waffles in a waffle maker, and use a fork to roll them to form a cone shape.

The waffles can be served on their own with a good coffee, or garnished with mascarpone cream, Greek yoghurt or another cream of your choice. A final garnish with fruits turns it into a light, gourmet dessert.
